Building Practical Tools for 3D Printing
3DPHW, an acronym for 3D Printable Hardware, is a company registered in the state of Arizona focused on creating practical products and software for the 3D-printing community.
The company originally began by designing and maintaining a growing collection of functional 3D-printable tools. That work later led to the development of STL File Manager, a free Windows application built to make browsing, previewing, and opening STL files easier.
Today, 3DPHW develops and maintains both STL File Manager and the Printable Tool Set.
What We Build
Our work combines practical 3D-printable designs
with
software created to make STL files easier to use.
STL File Manager
STL File Manager is a free Windows application for browsing personal STL collections through a familiar folder-based interface.
Users can browse folders, preview STL models, select one or multiple files, and open them directly in their preferred slicer.
The app is designed to be simple: if you already understand how to browse folders in Windows, you already understand the basic workflow.
Printable Tool Set
The Printable Tool Set is a growing collection of practical 3D-printable tools designed for makers, DIYers, educators, professionals, and anyone interested in functional 3D printing.
The collection includes more than 80 pieces and continues to expand as new tools and designs are created.
Free Sample Tools are also included with STL File Manager.
Practical. Useful. Built to Last.
3DPHW is focused on creating products that solve real problems for people who use 3D printers.
Whether that means designing a functional printable tool or building software that makes a large STL collection easier to browse, the goal is the same: keep the experience practical, understandable, and useful.
